mimic robotics is an early stage deep tech robotics & AI start-up based in Zurich and supported by leading VCs. We give industry workers a helping hand for tedious manual labor tasks and mitigate labor shortages with a versatile automation platform. Our automation solutions, driven by dexterous robotic hands and cutting edge AI trained on human observations, bring a new level of AI embodiment to the real world.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer you will develop software infrastructure enabling us to deliver the most advanced dexterous robotic manipulation product on the market. You will own several components of our software stack, from the front-end to back-end cloud pipelines.

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our software stack at the intersection of robotics and AI

• Develop GUI tools for robot operation, data collection and data visualization

• Automate and optimize data processing and AI workflows on the cloud

• Ensure code quality and testing, maintain CI/CD pipelines

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Robotics or a related engineering discipline

• 5+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent

• Experience in developing and deploying full-stack software projects

• Experience with at least one main cloud platform

• Proficiency in Python and at least one front-end framework

• Proficiency with Linux and Docker

• Fluent English speaker

 

Nice to have

• Strong Open source project portfolio

• Knowledge of Pytorch and MLOps tools

• Knowledge of AI and modern generative modeling methods
